Vintage 1966 Royal Copenhagen Faun with Squirrel Porcelain Figurine #456 designed by Christian Thomsen. Stands approx. 8.5 inches (21.25 cm) tall, base measures 3.25 inches (8 cm) x 3.25 inches (8 cm).
Handcrafted Royal Copenhagen Denmark porcelain figurine depicts a faun sitting in a pillar holding a flute while watching a squirrel. Designed in 1903 and signed on the base. Thomsen worked for Royal Copenhagen Denmark from 1898 to 1921 and passed away in 1921.
Features the Royal Copenhagen Denmark backstamp with #456. According to the seal with the bar below the letter N, this piece was manufactured in 1966. There is NO ETCH through the 3 waves logo, indicating factory first quality. Mint condition as seen in the pictures. Will be packed safely for shipping with tracking and insurance included.
