<strong>Item Details:</strong><br><br>Harris® 170 1/4" X 36" is a copper/zinc/nickel alloy designed for braze welding steel and cast iron. It can also be used for brazing tungsten carbide to steel where higher joining temperature is not objectionable. The addition of nickel to this alloy provides hardness and strength compared to standard bronze alloys. This characteristic makes it ideal for build-up and overlay. This alloy flows easily and deposits can be machined. It can be deposited using oxy-fuel torches. Applications include maintenance, repair and fabrication on steel, copper, copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys. Ideal for close-fit, strong "sweat" joints, bicycle frames and tubular furniture.
